SMT technology is reliable and stable because of its smaller component size and tighter connection to the printed circuit board. In addition, SMT connections have low thermal stress, helping to improve product performance in high temperature environments. However, SMT components are more susceptible to mechanical stress and therefore may present problems in certain high-vibration or high-impact environments.
In comparison, THT technology is slightly inferior to SMT in terms of reliability. Although THT components are larger and easily withstand mechanical stresses, their connecting parts are susceptible to thermal stresses. However, for high power and high voltage applications, THT technology has better performance because it can handle large currents and heat dissipation capacity.

1,The process of DIP processing is: putting in the hole →AOI→ wave soldering → cutting pin →AOI→ correction → washing → quality inspection.
