At present, the common PCB materials on the market mainly include insulating materials, metallic copper and solder. Moreover, our common PCB boards can be divided into three types: single-sided PCB boards, double-sided PCB boards and multilayer PCB boards. See the following introduction for details:

1. Single-sided PCB board

Single-sided PCB mainly refers to a PCB with copper on one side and no copper on the other side. Single-sided PCB boards can only place components (hereinafter referred to as components) and wiring on the copper-clad side, which is suitable for simple circuits.

2. Double-sided PCB board

The double-sided PCB board includes two layers, Top Layer and Bottom Layer, with copper on both sides and an insulating layer in the middle. Both sides can be wired, and generally need to be connected by vias or pads. The double-sided PCB board can be used for more complicated circuits and is an ideal PCB board.

3. Multilayer PCB board

Multi-layer PCB boards generally refer to PCB boards with more than three layers. It adds internal power layer, ground layer and multiple intermediate signal layers on the basis of double-sided PCB board. With the rapid development of electronic technology, the integration of circuits has become higher and higher, and the application of multilayer PCB boards has become more and more extensive. However, due to the increase in the number of layers of the multi-layer PCB board, the processing technology is difficult and the production cost is also high.

Therefore, when we make the circuit board, we have to make it according to our own needs, so that the stability of the circuit board can be high.
